Cover Lust No.1

Hey, guys!

Finally came up with a quick post to do when I have no time to write anything, Like today! Work's been crazy, PMS-ing like crazy, have the beginnings of a sore throat, and am nursing a very sick dog back to health with plenty of scares and vet visits thrown in for good measure. I'm tired!

These posts will just be showing off my favorite covers, regardless of how the book was. There's nothing quite like a gorgeous cover!

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

A SACRED OATH
A FALLEN ANGEL
A FORBIDDEN LOVE

Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life

People love to hate on this book, but I can't help adoring the cover! I liked the story, too. Is it the best written, most creative thing? No, it's not. Is it a bit predicable and insta-lovey? Some. Is it entertaining and addictive? Absolutely! It's one of those books that's interesting and engaging, but not something you have to put a lot of thought into.

  2. Yessssss! Normally a black and white cover would read a little boring to me, but this one is GORGEOUS. And I really loved this story too - totally addicting. The rest of the series didn't work quite as well for me, but I had fun with this book!
