Today I'm doing the Unpopular Opinions book tag, because I'm full of them. ;) Let's jump right in!

I cannot stand any of these books!
2. A popular book or series you loved that everyone else dislikes
So many people dislike this series, but it's my guilty pleasure read that I can't help but love.
3. A love triangle with the wrong endgame or an OTP you didn't like
Not a love triangle, but I really don't like Ivy and Ren together. They don't click for me.
4. A popular book genre you hardly reach for
Fantasy. Or Sci-fi.
5. A popular character you don't like
I am not a Ryodan fan, and I cannot stand Dani/Jada.
6. A popular author you can't get into
I finished one of her books and tried several times to get into this series, but I just can't. I don't care for her.
7. A popular trope you're tired of seeing
Oy, where to start? I'm so over the moody hero that never smiles, let alone laughs. I'm over love triangles. I'm over the couple splitting up. I'm sick of the useless sibling. I'm also very tired of secrets and lies between couples!
8. A popular series you have no interest in reading
9. A tv or movie adaptation that was better than the book
Outlander, hands down!
I loved Cinder and that whole series even though it isn't my typical read. You are making me contemplating just watching Outlander and eh with the books - or catching up on them later.

ReplyDeleteOh this meme is fun. BTW, I have to now admit that Outlander series on tv is better than the books so far. :( Oh well, I don't mind Jamie right in front of me on screen! :D
ReplyDelete*Gasp* but I love Cinder! haha I'm just messing. I have a lot of unpopular opinions too, I'm sure - but mostly I just don't have interest in reading a lot of popular books.
