Monday This and That

Hey, everyone!


Hope y'all had a good weekend. :) Mine was really fun!

Last week had a lot of days off, which is unusual for this time of year, but it was much appreciated. I spent most of the past few days with my best friend who's in town for the rest of the month, so that was really nice. Lots of eating, swimming, and acting like idiots! It didn't leave much room for reading, but she's only in town a few times a year. Books were still right here when I got back. ;)

This coming week is full of work again, so that'll keep my hands full. I do have a few new books on my Kindle I'm hoping to dive into. I guess we'll see!


I placed yet another order at Thriftbooks, and that will hopefully be here today or tomorrow. Finally got around to picking up some YA and NA books that have been on my TBR for quite a while, and I'm excited to get to those.


I really need to organize my closet. Okay, so it's basically just the dog closet, shoes, and some random photography equipment, but still! It's a mess. The storage areas in my house aren't very well designed.

Yesterday was a fun beach day, and a kayaking adventure! My travel sized, up for anything pup came with me, and she had a blast.

I love having a full physical TBR shelf. Some people seem to get really antsy when their shelf is practically overflowing, but I like it - I often flip around when I'm reading books, and I like having a wide variety at my fingers. There's around 30 books on mine at the moment!
