I'll admit to trying a bit of Beautiful Bastard and not liking it at all, but this one sounds more my alley, and reviews seem to concur. Have you read it? What did you think?

TBR Thursday
Kimberly @ Kimberlyfaye Reads started a new weekly feature that I'm excited to join in! This feature is to showcase what's on your to be read shelf (or eReader, or Audible library) and see what others think of it. Have you read it? Should I read it or put it back on the shelf? It's a way to dust off the books on your self and decide if they're worth reading!

Waiting on Wednesday
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking The Spine and is a fun way to see what books other bloggers just can't wait to get their hands on!
July 17th
One of my go-to guilty pleasure authors, and this sounds so enjoyable!

Top Ten Tuesday: Recent Additions to the TBR
Hey guys!
It's Top Ten Tuesday by The Broke and The Bookish! This week's topic is 10 books from X genre you've recently added to your TBR. Since pretty much all I read is romance, that's what I'm going with. ;)

May Recap + June TBR
Hey ladies!
Wow, I failed in May. Epically failed, as it turns out. Just two books read, and neither were that great. I'm so glad I was already ahead in my Goodreads challenge, and that that slump is gone! Since this recap is so short, I'm also going to share my (tentitive!) June TBR. Let's jump right in!

The Sunday Post/It's Monday, What Are You Reading?
Hey guys!
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a fun weekly meme hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date where we share what we've read and reviewed over the past week and what we plan to read next.
Happy June, ladies! I can't believe we're already smack dab in the middle of 2017; this year has absolutely flown by. May was a little rough for me, with emotions all over the place and my anxiety higher than normal. I'm feeling much better now, and am excited for summer (minus the 100 degree temps...)!
I don't know if I have a head cold or allergies, but oh my god. I've been an on-and-off snot factory this week, with aching ears, watery eyes and sneezing like mad. Also, I'm whiny.
I managed to read two books this week, which insane considering May was like...5 books total. Oops. I can always count on Rachel Vincent to break me out of a slump!

| 4 stars! Not where I would've chosen to take the story, but Vincent handled it with grace and made it very enjoyable. |

| 35% into this audiobook and I'm in love. I think Nevada and Rogan will edge out Kate and Curran before this series is over. |

I'll be the first to admit that I could not get into the Shadow Hunters books. I tried the first one a handful of times, and could never get passed the third chapter. That said, I've heard a few people that didn't like Shadow Hunters really enjoy this book, so maybe I should give it a try? The synopsis vertically intrigues me.
What do you think?
