Happy Monday! It's time again for the Weekly Wrap-Up of the books I've read last week. Five books were read this week, which seems to be fairly average during this time of year when I'm really working a lot. One physical book, four eBooks. Four full lengths, (very) short story.
I'm taking the 2015 Goodreads Reading Challenge, and I set my goal to 220 books to read this year. As of right now I have read 137, which puts me at 62% completed and 34 books ahead of schedule. I'm really enjoying tracking what I've read!

| Add to Goodreads Adult, dark erotica. 3.5 stars. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this sinfully dark and dirty read. The storyline was fast paced and compelling, and even though it definitely wasn't perfect by any means, it was a very engaging read and I'm looking forward to the sequel. Fair warning though: it ends on a decent cliffhanger. |

| Add to Goodreads New adult, paranormal romance. 2.5 stars. Theoretically, this should be right up my alley: angels, a sexy badass guy, ass-kicking, mystery. Unfortunately, this didn't do it for me. The protagonist got on my very last nerve with her sheer stupidity, the "sexy badass" was really just a douche, and I found myself not caring about anyone in the story. I try not to judge a series on the first book, so I will be picking up the second, though my expectations are low. At least the cover's pretty! |
