The Sunday Post/It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

Hi, everyone!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a fun weekly meme hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date where we share what we've read and reviewed over the past week and what we plan to read next.

A pretty quiet week here! Not too much work, and nothing much going on aside from insanely warm weather. Seriously, it should not be 78-80 degrees in December. It just shouldn't.

Today's Christmas cookie making day! Admittedly, the activity was a lot more fun before I quit sugar.....

A pretty good step week, I think. A few days didn't go above 11,000, but those were house deep cleaning and wood hauling days. The upper body work out made up for it. :p Steps this week:

Sunday - 10,893
Monday - 18,413
Tuesday - 10,223
Wednesday - 15,429
Thursday - 16,384
Friday - 14,364
Saturday - 16,572

Total - 102,278

Ohhhh myyyyyy goddddd I don't think I've been this excited for a book since the last time I said I was this excited for a book!!! I squealed like a tweenage girl at a One Direction concert when this popped up on my Kindle yesterday morning.

Read This Week

A fantastic reading week! With the stress of completing the Goodreads Challenge over, I've been able to relax and truly enjoy what I'm reading, not to mention being a lot pickier about it, resulting in an average 4-4.5 star rating of my recent books.

4.5 beautifully emotional stars, with a 5 star ending! This was such a romantic book, and one I couldn't wait to get back to. Audiobook.

4.5 addictive, insane stars! T.M. Frazier is the queen of making me adore books I normally wouldn't touch with a 10ft pole, and Lawless was no exception. Check back Friday for a review of this delicious bad boy. Just look at that cover. Damn. I'm  not usually one for long hair, beards, or blondes, but that guy....mmmm.
eBook.

4 funny and fluffy stars! Alice Clayton is my go-to for light, romantic reads, and this was no exception. I prefer the Cocktail series, but this was still enjoyable. Read it in a day.
Real book.

4 easy stars! This is an enjoyable series, albeit slow for a PNR/UF. It's too politics heavy and action light for me to marathon the series, but still enjoyable.
Audiobook.

Currently Reading

Only 35% into this or so, but it's hilarious and makes me hungry.
It's so amazing to revisit this series, and have some blanks filled in! I've no doubt this'll get a 5 star rating from me.

  6. I've read on a number of blogs that it is unseasonable warm for December in many parts of the USA.
Nice that you got the Frost book and were so excited. Love that when books can do that.
