Top Ten Tuesday: Book Dads

Hey guys!

It's Top Ten Tuesday by The Broke and The Bookish! Since Father's Day is this weekend, this week's topic is all about bookish fathers. Unfortunately, there's a serious lack of good parents in books. Like, I struggled to gather these books that have halfway decent fathers and father figures.. ;) I will say that it was much, much easier to find good fathers than it was to find good mothers.
That said, let's jump right in!

This was stupidly adorable.

Jake was ridiculously swoony

  1. Haven't read most of these, but I agree with you that it's easier to find good fathers in books vs mothers.

  2. I don't know any of these, but yeah, good parents in general are often hard to find in books!

  3. It seems that there is a growing trend to make parents more present in books. I know for awhile most of the YA adult books had absentee parents. I just finsihed Letters to the Lost and the dad to the girl is really pretty awesome.

  4. Yeah, you need to dive into adult books to find decent parents, or go classic :)

  5. I'm only familiar with Jake. Lol. I have to check out the other dads from your list. :D
