The Sunday Post/It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

Hey, all!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a fun weekly meme hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date where we share what we've read and reviewed over the past week and what we plan to read next.

I was knocked on my ass this week with a cold and I'm still a tad stuffy and tired, but that's okay because I finally kicked the reading slump I was in for most of March! Nothing was really holding my attention, but that's finally over and I'm back in full swing. Such a great feeling!

Not bad for it raining most of the week and being sick!

Read This Week

So many books this week I devoured in less than a day!

5 stars!
This was amazing, and broke me out of my funk. Second book to make it on my Best of 2016 so far!
4 stars!
Another enjoyable and addictive addition to the series, but suffered a bit from a scattered plot.
Audiobook

3 stars!
I have such a love/hate relationship with Sheridan's writing. She either blows me out of the water with beauty, pain and an amazing plot (Archer's Voice, Kyland), or annoys me with incredibly whiny characters and too much drama. Sadly, this fell into the second category.
However, it had the author's characteristic flair and un-put-downable-ness.
5 stars!
The series is the literarily equivalent of brownies: not good for you or enriching whatsoever, but incredibly enjoyable and you can't stop eating reading.
I laughed so hard I cried reading this, and the sex was off the charts fantastic.
5 stars!
Wow, what a ride on this one! So emotional, action packed, and I do so love these characters.
Audiobook
4.5 stars!
A hilarious, refreshing, and incredibly enjoyable tale!

Currently Reading

Nearly finished with this series (so far)!
Okay, so I actually just started this and may or may not keep going.

What Will I Read Next?

This. All I have to say is:

  1. I'm glad you're on the mend and got your reading mojo back!! I definitely have to read Sustained asap, now! I can not wait for One with You to release. I have to finish the book I'm reading by Tuesday. The pressure!!

  2. I'm in a bit of a slump myself. So yesterday, I re-read a favourite of mine in the hopes of getting over this reading suckfest. I'm determined to actually finish something this week. Sigh.

    Happy reading, Amanda!
