The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a fun weekly meme hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date where we share what we've read and reviewed over the past week and what we plan to read next.
Not much work this week, but it is insanely hot. Too hot to be outside, except for the evening and at night. Don't even get me started on all the bugs! The yellow biting flies are out in full force, and my legs are covered in bites. There's one on each ankle, and it makes it miserable to wear anything besides flip flops. I'm ready to move!

Still finishing this...sigh. They should kill of Lissa and the book would be much shorter and more enjoyable. |
Around 30% into this and I actually really like it, despite my normal distaste for fantasy! |
I just don't think I'm a fan of this author. |
What Will I Read Next?
Ugh to the heat and bugs. I hate bugs!! Glad to see you are enjoying the Bird and the Sword! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIck. Sometimes, outdoors is so overrated. Lol. I'm typically a stay-indoors kind of person anyway, so I like being up here in Canada. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, Amanda!
OH the bugs are bad here too! So over it!
ReplyDeleteGreat books this week! I have been on the fence about Mr. O. I heard lots of people rave about the audio! I'm curious to hear your thoughts on still life with strings. I like LH Cosway but I haven't read that one!
I'm glad you're enjoying the Harmon book! Bugs are the worst part about summer...hate them!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I hate our summers here in Australia as it's always just so hot and it's humid in my part of the country. We have lovely beaches but that usually means humidity and heat!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on the steps this week!
I feel ya on the heat thing. Ugh. DC skipped spring and went straight to summer and it's been a little too hot for my liking. Still, I've been trying to spend some time outside enjoying the sunshine (mostly in the late morning/early afternoon before it gets absolutely miserable) since I complained so much about all the rain we had and how I couldn't get outside. Haha. I enjoyed Charged, too, but I'm not surprised because I tend to love Jay's books. I really need to read L.H. Cosway's books. And one of these days I'll get to an Amy Harmon book. Ah, too many books. Not nearly enough time.
