This was a very low-key work week! I did so much binge watching of Supernatural, it was ridiculous. That show is crack-like with how addictive it is. Between that, The 100, and How I Met Your Mother, I'm feeling very dorky lately.

It's officially too hot to be outside, unless it's early morning or night. The humidity is so high it feels like drowning if you take a deep breath, and the blast of heat that comes from opening any outside door is insane. This is the time of year I really, really hate Florida.
The one upside to that it's now officially blueberry season here! Fresh, local berries are my favorite, and I've been eating blueberry-everything the past couple days. So delicious.

The relatives made the vacation something I needed a vacation from. ;) That said, here's some pictures!

Fitness

I kept up with yoga every day, even while at the beach!

I've also been dealing with having to make myself stop, slow down, and take a rest day. It's exceedingly hard for me to do that and I feel antsy and frustrated if I can't get in the minimum 10,000 steps, but there are some days where you just need to stop and rest. Between rain, being rundown from dealing with shitty family, and that time of the month, there was a lot of rising this week.  It's slowly becoming easier, but I still don't like it!

Almost done with this audiobook. I love how these books are just as fun the second (or third) time around!
Also, Reyes really was such a creepy douchecanoe in the first few books. At least he's redeemed himself!

I love the blue tones and simple font, plus the back of that dress is to die for. That said though, I actually prefer this cover because of what it isn't, rather than what it is. Looking at this cover, you wouldn't think it's the pure, raunchy filth that it is. I read a lot of dirty, dirty smut, and this book made me blush. However, I like that you wouldn't know that just by the cover!

Happy November and huge yay for fall back time! I love this time of year, and the extra hour of sleep. ;)

Apart from feeling sick the past couple days, it's been laid back and easy week around here. I fell into a guilty pleasure reading spree with a historical romance serial series (wow, that was a mouthful!), so I did get a good bit of reading done this week. It was such a satisfying binge.

Oh my god! I've never really gotten the hype around this author before; I've read one or two before and while I liked them well enough, they were just okay. This one, though...woah. It blew my mind, was so sexy and refreshing, and I was left incredibly satisfied. A Top Fav for 2016.

I really enjoy this author and loved the entire serial series. These are my thoughts on all of these in the series. They're anywhere from 130 to 190 pages per book.

Decent hero, obnoxious and childish heroine. One of my favorite male narrators though, and the woman did a good job as well.

Um. I read a lot of historical porn this week. #SorryNotSorry 

3-4 stars? I don't know how I feel about it.  It was a very quick read though.

I love a good mafia-type romance. And THIS is how you do a bad boy. Hmm..do a bad boy.....

This was so weird. They weren't actually cousins, so that's the only reason I tried this rather well rated short story.

Dirty and rather interesting.

I really don't think this author is for me. Every single one of the three heroines of hers I've read has made me want to strangle them. The hero was a doormat, too. Only redeeming qualities were the dog and the best friend.

4 stars!
This deals with the same subject as It Ends With Us, and I can't believe I'm saying this,  but I prefer how this author handled it and her heroine. Took a star off because there was a little too much sex (or maybe that's just because I read a lot of smut this week), but otherwise I was pleasantly surprised. Cliffhanger, though!

This had such a good premise, but fell rather flat with surface-level characters and a few pointless drama moments. Still, quick read!

Not a huge fan of the male narrator, but so far so good!

Only around 35% into this, but oh my god it is so good! I'm a sucker for rockstars. :D
