Weekly Wrap Up

Hey, guys!
It's once again time to go through the books I read last week! I finished 6 books for the first week of June. Five were full length novels and one was a novella, three were physical books and three were eBooks. This was a really good number for me during this time of the year, as my work (and dogs, and two blogs...hey, I'm rhyming!) keeps me busy.

Amour Amour - Krista and Becca Ritchie

Read from May 31st to June 1st.
4.5 stars!
New adult contemporary romance.

Conviction - Nicole Edwards
Read on June 2nd
3 stars
Adult, erotica
This was deliciously filthy! Just. Plain. Filthy. It's a lot of smut that does not hold back. Warnings for m/f, m/f/m, and even m/f/m/m fun.

Asking For It - Lilah Pace

4 stars
Read from June 4th to June 5th.
Adult, dark erotic romance
This story was absolutely fascinating. It was dark, honest, well written and very intense. It deals with rape fantasy as the by-product of a rape, and has other aspects of sexual abuse. Rape/rape fantasy is one thing that just does nothing for me, so it was interesting to read it without the aspect of turning me on. It was so enthralling, and I can't wait to read the next one. If this is not something that would be a trigger to you, I highly recommend it.
NOTE: All sexual situations between the main characters are completely consensual.

Um...it was a threesome kind of week?

  1. I've heard nothing but amazing things about Amour Amour, I really need to make time for that one! I still have not read anything by the Ritchie sisters and that is UNACCEPTABLE.
