The Sunday Post/It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

Hey, everyone!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a fun weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey where we share what we've read and reviewed over the past week and what we plan to read next.

This week was the laziest one that's happened since around oh....May? Only worked a few days this week! It was lovely, truly. Marred by awful cramps and mood swings bad enough to give anyone whiplash, but at least I could just laze in bed all day. ;)

5 weeks of running, and I slacked some. Missed two days back to back due to the aforementioned that time of the month, and took it at a much gentler pace than I have been. It was nice, I'll admit.

I've found I actually really enjoy listening to audiobooks while running (so long as the narrator isn't completely apathetic about the story....)! It's easier for me to focus on than music, easier to sort of lose myself in the story and the pace of running. Plus, it's a great way to get in some extra reading.

This week wasn't great for new reads, but I did reread quite a few via audiobooks!

Bit of a smut week again. My Kindle's a treasure-trove of smexy, kinky fun.

Very short story
Didn't enjoy this until the last quarter or so, but then it picked up and I started to enjoy it. Urban Fantasy's always a bit hard to get into for me!
Hilariously stupid short story
I was so excited to read this; it was hugely hyped by some of my favorite bloggers and reviewers. I was beyond disappointed with this. If there ever was a fuckwit heroine, it was this chick.
Kind of intriguing short story.

Re-read/listened to

I just love this series! One of the few I can go back and read again, and like it more than the time before!

Currently Reading

This is going slow for me, though that might be because it's on my Kindle and therefore easier to push aside.

A re-read

What will I read next?

Not a clue! I need to get on Everything Everything, and I have several of K.A. Tucker's books to start on.

  4. I hope you feel better this week. Glad you got some rest over the weekend.

I hope you like Everything, Everything. I thought it was very good. I have heard good things about the Jeaniene Frost books but haven't tried them yet.
